Wisma Putra also urged Malaysians who have yet to register with the embassy to do so immediately at
It also advised Malaysians who intended to visit Kathmandu to postpone their journey until conditions improve.
“As all access to outside Kathmandu Valley are damaged and inaccessible following the landslides and floods,” it said.

It was reported that on Monday, the chargé d’affaires at the embassy, Mohd Firdaus Azman, had said the continuous rain since Sept 26 caused many highways and roads throughout the country to be flooded and disconnected.
“If they arrive in Kathmandu, they will be stranded. In addition, the water level is still high and bridges connecting Kathmandu are completely destroyed,” he said.
