Dato Seri Vida’s daily life is surely an eventful one. After her maid ran off with a man last week, the cosmetic business owner decided to show more love and appreciation to her staff by gifting her personal chef’s son a brand-new drivable toy car for his birthday.
However, life hasn’t been easy as just yesterday (Thursday, 22nd June), Dato Seri Vida posted a video on her Instagram to share with her followers that her car was involved in an accident on a highway.
The video posted showed the damages from the impact of the cars involved in the collision with the millionaire’s car in the worst condition. The accident was reported to have taken place at around 12 noon. According to the mother-of-four, the accident occurred when a female driver suddenly switched lanes without signalling before hitting the emergency brakes to avoid a traffic cone.
This action caused a domino effect as the other cars behind the driver, including the celebrity businesswoman’s, collided with one another. Speaking to mStar, the “I Am Me” singer revealed that only her driver and assistant left the vehicle to handle the situation with the other drivers.
“I stayed in the car ’cause I was afraid that there’d be a fight between the drivers. No one knew that I was involved in that accident,” she said. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the accident. However, the entrepreneur shared that she was thrown forward from her seat to the space between the driver and the passenger seats during the collision. Fortunately, she sustained no injuries other than a sprained foot.
It was then revealed that Dato Seri Vida informed her children, Cik B and Kacak, about the accident later that evening as she didn’t want them to worry. “I waited until everything calmed down first before telling them. Even then, they were panicking after I shared the news,” she told the local news outlet. The video above showed the public figure’s son’s reaction to receiving the news that his mother was involved in an accident.
Not long after that, the entrepreneur’s daughter also posted a loving heart-warming video thanking her mother for loving her as she is. Seeing how worried she was after the news of the recent accident, it’s no surprise that the influencer wanted to showcase her love and appreciation for her mother.
